The Crooked Beak of Heaven seeks to artificially resurrect extinct species, namely the dodo bird, whilst drawing metaphoric parallels to obsolete forms of technologies through sound and form. I am interested in exploring the nostalgia for things that are extinct, as mixed with our fascination and fear of obsolescence. It was realised as a multiple component installation that incorporates a wearable sound sculpture and performance.
